Greg began his financial planning career in 1982. Greg was awarded the Certified Financial Planner designation in 1984 and opened Crawford Financial planning later that same year. For the past 25 years Greg has focused on helping clients reach their financial planning goals. Early on in his career Greg felt it was important to place the client's interest above the interests of their advisors and this is why Crawford Financial Planning was then and remains today a fee-only planning firm. On a personal note Greg believes that it is important to give back to the community. For that reason Greg has spent his career serving on various non-profit, professional and community boards. Over the years Greg has served as National Board Member and President of NAPFA (National Association of Personal Financial Advisors). Within California, Greg has proudly served as Board Member and Chairman of Sierra Vista Child and Family Services, the Center for Human Services, the Planned Giving Committee of the Memorial Hospital Foundation, and the Greater Modesto Interfaith Hospitality Network. Besides volunteering Greg enjoys spending time with his family and training for his next marathon!
